Hrmmm...

I am rather disgruntled. This is not my favorite piece by you. But don't get me wrong, I loved it, but I usually see so much more out of you. It was well written and beautiful, but it almost seems like you tried too hard to make it long. The melody was great, but seemed to drag on in some places. I also heard some sour notes that may or may not have be intentional, but past all that, I sill give you a 9/10 and 5/5 because it was still amazing :)

Beautiful

I can honestly say, the spontaneous climaxes in the midst of this song startles me, but in a good say (is that possible?). I got chills every time. I love your use of chimes in alot of your Orch pieces. This sounded like something that would be played in a movie of some kind. I could honestly see you writing music for professional orchestras one day. The way you blend instruments is unmatched by anyone else on NG. I applaud you, sir, and beg you to continue making music. 10/10 and 5/5 my friend.

oh my god thankyou so much this review is awesome and so are alot of your others :)

Heh...

This is a great piece, and like the reviewer below me said, it sounds like something straight out of The Sims. Haha. I used to play that game alot when I was younger, and this brought back some good memories of when my sister and I actually got along xD. Musically, it would probably get tiring after a while (but so did The Sims music), but that doesn't stop me from enjoying it. The beat was catchy, and I can't think of any way to really expand on it, but I'm giving it a 9/10 because this isn't really my /favorite/ style of music. But I will give you a 5/5 because it's very well done :)

Interesting.

Since I decided to start with your latest work and backtrack, I'll say this is the "fullest" piece I've heard from you, and it sounds amazing. Being a fan of powerful classical music, I really enjoyed this piece. I could imagine myself playing some sort of game where I run through a field, or climb a waterfall(?). Haha. I would say give the trumpets a bit more melody somewhere in there, but that's just because I love trumpets. :o It was simply amazing as always, so 5/5 and 10/10. As usual.

Zero123Music responds:

haha thanks alot nick :)

I totally agree about the trumpets- the melody is kinda hidden in the mix

Wow...

Simply inspiring. It's been a long while since I've looked at your stuff, but I can safely say I'm a fan for life. I feel like you'd have a future with this as a career. This reminds me of the night theme for Zelda: Twilight Princess. If I had anything to say about improving this piece is I'd make it build to an even more dramatic climax with perhaps the addition of another instrument. That simple suggestion doesn't even begin to change my opinion on the beauty of this piece. Great work, as always. 10/10 and 5/5 for sure :)

Great Job

I'm quite a fan of piano music, and this was very well written, and I applaud you. I don't see how it could be improved really, but some notes seemed to get cut off prematurely, just something I noticed.

Expansion

Expand on it alot. It sounds like you pulled this out of Garage Band and posted it on here. Make it alot longer. Loop or not, people would get tired of hearing this over and over.

lgnxhll responds:

apparently the guy who downloaded it wanted too here it

Ehhhhh

It wasn't toooo bad. But it got really repetitive really fast, and the ending was very abrupt. I suggest variation and making it loop or end in some better way. It really didn't appeal to me that much.

Very Nice

This was brilliant. I could just imagine myself scanning side to side in some sort of video game. I don't see how this could be improved, but nothing is perfect, so I'm giving you a 9. :)

Thanks.

Overall: Nice Attempt

Good attempt at this. I like the fluttering flutes/marimbas(whatever they are) towards the middle. I feel like you could expand on it to sound more powerful. Because at the moment, it sounds more like a high school band than a full orchestra. Keep the beginning the same, but give yourself something to build to.

DJVigil responds:

hm... okay! I will work on that more. Thank you for your review!
